Semaine 12/Week 12 : Froufrous !!!!

Dans l'atelier/In the studio

Froufrous !

Pattern: Fragment Socks by Curious Handmade, from Laine Magazine 4.
Yarn: Filentropie BFL Fingering - The Yellow that goes with everything
Gorgeous pattern, I love how the stitch metamorphoses when I put them on. I knit them in yellow to help raise awareness about endometriosis, following Chez Machine Patterns's call.

I finished this one some time ago but realise I hadn't showed you any pictures. Here it is. It is the third time I have knit this Jeune Pousse. I can't get enough. As for the yarn... Incredibly soft. It is some hand dyed organic merino from Tasmania, from White Gum Wool.

Sur mes aiguilles/On my needles-WIPs

WTF?!, Dreareneeknits

Ok, not on my needles literaly, but not 100% finished either... It is drying as I am writing :) A few more hours and I will be able to wrap myself into this ocean of mellow softness. I am beyond excited! Visit my Ravelry project page for details about yarns and yardage.

Oh Boy/Oh Girl - Les Chaussettes

It was about time I should knit the second sock. Tic tac, one month and a half left before we get to meet our daughter :)

The Weekender, Dreareneeknits

I have separated front and back, knit the front and bound off the front neck stitches.

If you're looking for me same time next year, guess where I'll be! Can't believe I studied for one year in Stirling (45min north of Edinburgh) but that was before EYF existed...!

I don't know if it is due to the hormones, but this video deeply moves me each time I watch it. Thank you Sylvie Damey for sharing. Full video here (in French but do give it a try).
